Shawn Babcock,

PT, Cert. MDT

Shawn graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1997 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy.  He has worked in orthopedics throughout his years in therapy treating many injuries from acute to chronic conditions and whiplash to ankle sprains.  After experiencing sciatica personally, Shawn began specializing in treatment of the spine in 2002 which lead him to become a Certified McKenzie practitioner in 2004.  He has furthered his specialty with courses that include Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the extremities. He also continues to participate in advanced manual therapy training, functional movement screening and exercise training.

Clinical Interests: Shawn’s main interest and education is in treating the spine and extremities. He enjoys the challenge of diagnosing musculo-skeletal dysfunction and finds educating patients and leading them through recovery especially rewarding.

Personal Interests: In his free time, Shawn enjoys time with his family near and far. Outdoors, sailing, hiking and biking are all high on his list.
